Why We Eat Emotional Hunger?
In this lives we form habits and those habits can either be useful to us
or they are able to harm us. Many habits become minute nature to people so we
don't even provide our actions a 2nd thought.
Because our habits are second mother nature we never look at them For
example, feeling sad along with reaching for several cookies for convenience.
It is crucial to understand what prompted you to reach for the particular
cookies and take care of that thought or emotion.
Rather than indulging your desire, take a deep breath and give attention to
your breathing. While you listen to the breath the desire to have the cookie
will gradually subside until you don't want the particular cookies. You have finally
overcome that initial 'rush' to find satisfaction and you can now have
more control above the situation. It only took minutes but you
have taken a huge step up controlling your hankerings.
Emotional eating will also be related to delight and pleasurable
memories. As a child most of us were rewarded using food which offered
food enormous leverage over us. The particular pattern for worthwhile ourselves
with food took over into each of our adult lives in which it became a challenge
for us.
Eating is only one fashion to treat yourself. Why don't you schedule a trip to the
spa, a lunch out with your friends, and long walk in a very park? Why not really
treat yourself with a nice hot bath and also a facial? Why not play another
round of tennis? Why not have a very healthy lunch with your friends? There
are so many strategies to reward yourself besides that handful of
